Strengthening quarantine from July 1

The Special Republican Commission on the Fight against Coronavirus has decided to strengthen quarantine restrictions from July 1.

Large clothing markets and shopping centers in all regions of the republic will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays for sanitary and disinfection works.

In public places and objects of business activity, citizens are obliged to maintain a social distance of 2 meters and wear medical masks and gloves.

At the entrances to supermarkets and other large shopping facilities, citizens will be given medical gloves free of charge.

In areas with "red" and "yellow" quarantine levels, from 07:00 to 23:00 more than three people are prohibited from gathering in public places, and from 23:00 to 07:00 citizens are prohibited from being on the street and in the courtyards of multi-storey buildings.

The last prohibition will not affect those citizens who need to get to medical institutions due to deteriorating health or pregnancy, or go to the pharmacy for medicines.

In addition, in the "red" and "yellow" zones on weekends will reduce the movement of public transport.

As for the work of transport in general, passengers will be seated in bus salons "based on sanitary and epidemiological requirements" with respect to social distance.

Restrictions on the movement of personal vehicles remained unchanged:

  • in the "yellow" zones - from 06:00 to 22:00
  • in the "red" zones - from 07:00 to 10:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00

Citizens who violate these restrictions will be held administratively liable, the decision of the special commission says.

The Special Republican Commission for the Fight against Coronavirus has approved a list of types of vehicles that are allowed to travel from July 10 to August 1 without special permission.

List:

  • official and personal transport of health workers, including private organizations, as well as health and epidemiological services;
  • official transport of organizations that are engaged in the production of pharmaceutical products;
  • personal transport, if necessary, to visit a medical facility for emergency care (pregnancy, childbirth, bodily injury, HIV / AIDS, cancer care, radiation therapy, hemodialysis care, the need for surgery, other life-threatening cases);
  • vehicles of delivery organizations (catering);
  • special transport of utilities - gas, electricity, heat supply, cold water, sewerage and garbage collection;
  • official transport of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis, courts and prosecutors, the Accounts Chamber, the business ombudsman, the ombudsman, the National Center for Human Rights, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
  • service transport of ministries, state committees, agencies, other state bodies, business associations, local authorities and the media;
  • official transport of the Central Bank and its regional divisions, as well as commercial banks;
  • service transport of the Republican collection service;
  • transport of employees (with an official ID) of foreign diplomatic missions, as well as with numbers CMD, D, UN, T, M and X, consular offices, representative offices of international organizations accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representative offices of state organizations and trade missions of other countries;
  • official transport of communication service organizations, "Uzbekiston Pochtasi", "Uzbektelecom" and its branches, as well as "Uzinfocom";
  • vehicles of categories N1, N2 and N3 (trucks) and agricultural machinery;
  • transport of M2 and M3 categories of bus fleets of the Toshshahartranskhizmat company;
  • vehicles accompanied by traffic police vehicles;
  • special vehicles intended for burial ceremonies (for these ceremonies only);
  • personal transport of category M1 (up to eight passenger seats), transporting seasonal agricultural products - one passenger is allowed.

It is noted that vehicles transporting agricultural products grown by dekhkans and farms can move between regions and cities of the republic in order to deliver them to places of sale and sale. At the entrance to markets, fairs and trade facilities, this transport must be disinfected.

The movement of non-linear taxis is also allowed, but subject to a number of requirements:

  • a barrier made of transparent plastic or film must be installed in the cabin between the driver and passengers;
  • the driver and passengers must wear face masks, the carriage of passengers without masks is prohibited;
  • there can be no more than two passengers in the cabin, they should only occupy the rear seats;
  • a taxi can only move in the registration region (Tashkent, Karakalpakstan, region).
